• SEEMA Aluminium Works L.L.C. has developed a Quality policy based on the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 to satisfy the needs of its customers, and to continuously maintain its reputation for consistency, high quality and on-time completion of its projects. Our Quality system undergoes constant review and development to better serve its urged need.

  • The Company Policy of SEEMA Aluminium Works L.L.C. is that the quality of all its services, workmanship and materials will conform to all contractual requirements and give the expected value to its clients.

  • The Quality Manual and Supporting procedures are approved by the undersigned and must be followed for all jobs. Any deviation from the quality system requires the approval and authorization of the QA/QC.

  • As the reputation of the company is highly dependable on the quality of its service, it is therefore the concern of all company employees to ensure that this standard is maintained as efficiently as possible.

  • The QA/QC Engineer is directly responsible to the Projects Manager. He has the responsibility and authority to ensure that the Quality System and supporting procedures are maintained throughout the company.

Quality Assurance:

 

Purpose:

To ensure that all quality requirements specified for products manufactured by SEEMA Aluminium Works L.L.C. are in accordance with the projects drawings and specifications.

Definition:

SEEMA Aluminium Works L.L.C. operate a complete quality model controlled and administrated by the QA/QC Officer to ensure the maintenance of proper and sufficient product quality levels specified. The QA/QC Officer will be responsible for the direct coordination with the Main Contractor (M.C.)/Consultant to provide the following assurances:

  1. To assure the MC/Consultant that the design procedures will control and verify the design of the product to ensure that specifications are
  2. To assure the MC/Consultant that the products supplied and their installation procedures comply with the project’s
  3. To assure the MC/Consultant that standards applied within SEEMA Aluminium Works

L.L.C. are consistent with the International standards.

  1. To assure the MC/Consultant that all production methods and inspection procedures are carried out in accordance with recognized standards
  2. To assure the MC/Consultant that all the measuring equipment in use by SEEMA Aluminium Works L.C. personnel will ensure the verification of the job specifications and requirements
  3. Design Control: Purpose:

    To establish and maintain procedures to control and verify the design of the curtain wall and any structural elements in order to ensure that the customer specified requirements are met

    Definition:

    SEEMA Aluminium Works L.L.C. operate the following design control procedures to ensure the proper and efficient follow up of the process of producing the design ofthe curtain wall and any structural elements in accordance with the clients requirements:

    • Contract Review
    • Client Design Review
    • Drawing and specification control

      Drawing and Specification Control: Purpose:

      To ensure all products produced are according to the project’s drawings, specifications and international standards of the latest issue where applicable

      Definition:

       

      1. Project’s drawings and specifications will be date stamped on arrival
      2. Project’s drawings and specifications will be retained by the Chief Designer in the drawings office and not removed without his permission
      3. In the event of a drawing or specification change, the Projects Manager will notify the QA/QC who will in return notify the Chief Designer / Production All relevant drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation to previous issue numbers will be withdrawn
      4. All projects’ drawings and specification will be verified by the projects manager or QA/QC to ensure compatibility with production and inspection
      5. Supplier Control:

       

      Purpose:

      To ensure that all suppliers of material and services to the finished products of SEEMA Aluminium Works L.L.C. conform to the recognized standards and project’s specifications

      Definition:

      1. A list of approved suppliers of both material and service will be maintained by the Purchasing Officer with a record of their past performance
      2. The QA/QC engineer will maintain records of the assessment of the suppliers , and any non-conformance will be reported, in writing, to the supplier’s quality assurance representative for corrective action

        Purchasing Control: Purpose:

        To ensure that all purchase orders contain sufficient information to clearly describe the material or service ordered

        Definition:

        1. All orders for material or service should be placed with approved suppliers as per the approved suppliers list
        2. The Material Controller must ensure that all orders for materials are:
          • To a stated specification
          • Accompanied by relevant drawings and/or additional technical data where appropriate
          • Referenced to any relevant international standard or other standards as necessary

      Verification of Purchased Products:

       

      In the event of SEEMA Aluminium Works L.L.C. should decide to examine material or products at a subcontractors or suppliers premises, this will not relieve the subcontractor or supplier of his responsibility to supply material or products of the highest quality.

      It is company policy to inspect all material and products upon receipt to verify quality of good supplied

      Material Receipt and Control:

       

      Purpose:

      To establish a reliable and efficient system for the control of all incoming material, in accordance with recognized standards under the control of the Material Controller

      Definition:

      1. All supplies of the material are identified on arrival
      2. The Material Controller will appropriately inspect all supplies received against the relevant purchase order, documentation received and any other technical information available
      3. Non-conforming material will be segregated and returned to supplier for action
      4. Material requiring urgent release to the factory for processing, prior to goods inwards inspection, must be clearly identified a not being inspected, so as to facilitate the ease of recollect should any non-conformance be found at a later time

        Process Control:

         

        Purpose

        To ensure products are manufactured and inspected in accordance with project’s specifications and recognized standards

        Definition:

        1. Fabrication Drawings will be produced, which will detail all the necessary information required to fabricate the components to customer’s requirement and project specification
        2. Inspection operations will be carried out at specific points during the production process to ensure conformance to customer’s requirements
        3. All inspection operations will be recorded and endorsed by an approved signatory where applicable
        4. Regular auditing will be carried out on methods and systems to ensure conformance to recognized standards

        Inspection Control: Purpose

        To ensure that all fabricated and fixed components comply with the requirements of the

        customer’s drawings, specifications and recognized standards

        Definition:

        1. Inspection operations are carried out in accordance with the company quality policy
        2. No departure from customer’s drawings or specification shall be made unless specifically authorized by the order of the customer
        3. Documented evidence of satisfactory control of design, manufacturing, erection and quality shall be maintained
        4. Evidence of effective quality assurance shall be maintained by regularly performance audit
        5. Quality assurance shall be prominent at all stages of design, manufacturing and erection
        6. Conformance to specification shall be identified by an approved signatory
        7. All evidence of non-conformance shall be referred to QA/QC Engineer

Environmental Policy, conforming to the objectives of ISO 14001, is based on commitment to sustainable development on product design, i.e. to protect the environment, minimize the waste of renewable and non-renewable resources and reduce energy consumption as part of a continuous improvement programme.

Throughout its products, activities and services, the company will endeavor to minimize any adverse impact on the environment by means of pollution prevention, and energy and water conservation. In return, this will save costs, increase operational efficiency and improve

quality of products and services which will be achieved, as well as maintaining a safe environment for the community as a whole and a healthy workplace for our employees.

In pursuit of this policy, the Management believes:

  • Environmental protection and waste minimization is the responsibility of every employee and person working for and on behalf of SEEMA and should be ab integral part of their working life supported by training whenever
  • Every endeavour will be made to ensure that SEEMA meets its responsibilities by conforming to all applicable environmental regulatory requirements, and with other requirements to which the company subscribes; in relation to its environmental aspects
  • Prime consideration will be given to the prevention of pollution and the elimination of waste and emissions at source whenever production processes of SEEMA facilities are
  • Customers and suppliers will be encouraged to support the same objectives by minimizing environmental impact through waste and reducing energy consumption whenever possible
  • Management will set continuous improvement targets on a regular basis based on risk assessments reviews and other Reviews will be undertaken to identify progress towards these targets and set further targets for subsequent periods.

Seema Aluminum recognizes that Safety issues are fundamental to the Construction & Maintenance business and a proactive approach is required at our end. Our objective is to meet the requirements of all applicable legislation related to construction and maintenance business and, wherever practicable, implement best practice through our certified Management System (MS) which satisfies the requirements of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 and our overall business policy and strategy. Seema Aluminum fully recognizes and believes that all harm is preventable and aim for zero fatality due to the construction  activities carried on by us, so:

Provide appropriate information, systems of communication, instruction, and training in Quality, Health & Safety, and environment to maintain and continuously improve the competence levels of all employees.
